Manager Devsecops
DevSecOps Manager is a technical hand-on leadership role focused on DevSecOps engineering practices and enable automation across the enterprise.This purpose of this role will not only provide technical directions but also oversight DevSecOps enablement and enhancements to deliver business applications in AWS/Azure Cloud. DevSecOps lead will also be accountable for the successful implementation, deployments, and configuration management along with development of new automation and agile practices (CI/CD).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead application deployment in the cloud with Continuous integration and Continuous deployment by using DevSecOps tools and technologies.
- Assist in transforming application to run on microservices application architectures.
- Propose and implement cloud application transformation and automation based on business requirements.
- Lead automation effort to convert manual application deployments by using configuration management tool such as Ansible.
- Understand Application Architecture and assist in building, enhancing and optimizing container-based deployment.
- Lead the team of software developers and engineers to build cloud native application and DevSecOps standards.
- Implement cloud best practices for application deployments (CI/CD) and configuration management.
- Deploy cloud services using Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform IaC and Ansible Configuration management
- Lead DevSecOps Code reviews, manage and maintain shared code repositories
- Lead DevSecOps engineering practices to ensure standards are enforced across entire pipeline and code artifacts.
- Lead and direct cloud engineering resources to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Responsible for mentoring junior talent as well as directing technical staff through technical challenges, tasks, and projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Architecture, Security, Agile Coaches, Project team etc)
- Own the delivery of an entire application migration by implementing DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate with Application team, cloud architects and DevSecOps SRE team
