Job Description (Summary): We are seeking a Technical Lead for our Digital Command Center (DCC), a monitoring team that operates 24/7 to ensure the highest levels of system performance and availability. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Splunk development, with a strong background in creating, managing, and optimizing Splunk applications and dashboards for real-time monitoring and analytics. This role demands a blend of leadership skills and technical acumen to guide a team in the development and implementation of monitoring solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security posture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the development and maintenance of advanced Splunk applications, dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor system health, security threats, and operational trends.

  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and application teams to define monitoring requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Manage the Digital Command Center's technical strategies, ensuring 24/7 operational effectiveness and rapid response to incidents.
  • Mentor and guide a team of DCC operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Assist in the integration of Splunk with other monitoring and data sources, enhancing the DCC’s analytical capabilities and automated response mechanisms.
  • Conduct regular system audits, performance optimizations, and capacity planning for the Splunk environment.
  • Stay abreast of the latest Splunk features and technologies, incorporating best practices into the DCC's operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all monitoring and data analysis activities.
  • Participate in incident response efforts, providing technical expertise and leadership in high-pressure situations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
