Job Description (Summary)
Development and support resource acting as integral part of Financial Insights and Financial Analytics Digital Services teams working in agile manner supporting multiple projects and support services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure standard site billing data load properly from QBS (Quest Billing System - mainframe) and Non-Standard Billing data load (individual interfaces) properly into Quest Diagnostics Decision Support System (QDSS) each month end.
- Administer Informatica application bringing services up/down, troubleshooting errors, apply patches and update PowerCenter version when required.
- Support migration of QDSS code to Matillion and Snowflake.
- Define and develop processes to support required analytics outcomes which may include data gathering and preparation, extract transform and load processes, and database design.
- Gather and document customer requirements and develop design specifications.
- Create and execute Unit and System Test Plans to ensure quality.
- Model enterprise data to enable development of business analytics and ad hoc analysis.
- Coordinate efforts with various departments, including Database Administration, to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, implement changes and publish new reports and analytics.
- Provide concise and comprehensive technical documentation, including Design Specifications according to the Agile Project Execution Process (PEP) used by Quest Diagnostics
